OneSpan Electronic Signatures allow you to take virtually any document, add a place to sign, and send it off electronically to a client or partner for signature. They will sign the document on their pc with a simple mouse click and these documents will stand up in a court of law. This functionality makes it easy to deal with contracts.

Identity Verification

This can be via standard email, or additionally we can also have the system send the user an SMS for 2 factor verification.

File Formats and converting to contract

OneSpan is able to import Word / PDF, or “print to Onespan” functionality can be used to create just about anything as a contract to send.

Print to package function

Install a print driver which acts like a printer and prepares any printable document for electronic signatures.

Attachments

The system has the functionality to insist that the signatory first uploads a file before they can sign. This would work in the case that a copy of their driver’s license or other uploads is a requirement.

Allows you to create and use templates for contract & layouts, for different signing options on the same contract.

Personal messages to recipients

You can enter a personal message to the recipient of the contract, this could include instructions or a welcome message.

Track email status

It is possible at any time to see who has signed, or accessed the documents, even if they haven't signed yet.

Lost invitation and notification resend

OneSpan is able to resend a signing invitation to the recipient, if not yet signed, or send complete email if complete

Reminders

You can have the system send reminders to the person that needs to sign based on a defined schedule.

Expiration Dates

Allows you to set email transaction expiry dates.

Signing order

The contract can be sent either to each signatory on the list in sequence, or sent to everyone in parallel, depending on the requirement.

Signing transfer

Allows a recipient to assign someone else to sign the transaction on their behalf.

Large package delivery

You can add up to 10 documents to the same package and send in a single transaction.

Customer Captured Fields

You can create fields on contracts which require a client to manually enter data into the contract prior to signing.

Visibility Options

You can specify which recipients will be able to view certain documents in the package. This can be used for hiding sensitive documents from people who don't need to see it, such as salary statements on employment contracts.

Conditional fields

The above capture fields on the contract can also be conditional, allowing you to ask for more information, show / hide fields and make fields un-editable based on choices the client makes.

Proof of delivery option

The system has the option to send the contract as Accept only (No signature required; it is a proof of delivery).

Completed contract delivery

Once the signature has been provided, everyone gets a copy of the signed contract which can be downloaded for record keeping purposes.
